  • Automations for Alchemy ICMP server

    Good afternoon.

I'm using an ICMP server and a CP750 processor, i need to put volume commands, but I don't know how to do it.

I tried to do some procedures, but they didn't work, can you help me how do I put these commands?

I don't have direct Alchemy-to-CP750 experience, but here is a related thread for Alchemy to JSD-80.
    http://www.film-tech.com/ubb/f16/t003524.html

They went into some details about the escape sequences the ICMP uses/expects that might be your stumbling point?

There is also the cp750 tcp port number, from the manual at the very end. Section 7.3.2, Remote Commands and Control, which appears to be the only place it describes the ASCII strings over TCP option.
"ASCII control over TCP command strings must be sent to port 61408"

Note the larger section about remote commands (and a bigger table of commands) is in Chapter 6 "Remote Control and Monitoring", where it lists ASCII commands in context of serial communication. But would expect the larger table of commands to be available over TCP too?

Escape sequences and port numbers were the only difficult to unearth bit when I was doing my Doremi-to-AP20 tcp commands.

Assume you have the 750 manual I reference, but if not here:

Also apparently Barco supplies a bunch of libraries for commands that include the CP750, I was responding as if you were attempting raw commands.

      Here is another thread:
