Subtitles are done in different ways in 3D DCPs. I guess you would need to be more specific.

SMPTE ST 428-7 supports 3D subtitles. The subtitle can have a fixed Zposition or a Zposition that changes frame by frame. If a system does not support the changing Zposition, it should display the fixed Zposition.
