    Maybe the thing is marketed as the "GDC projector" outside of China, because nobody knows the "Espedeo Supra-5000", which sounds like a knock-off of a sports car rather than a professional projector.

      Just think how much more complex our color imaging systems would need to be if we could not cheat and use just three colors to reproduce to what our eyes see as full color. Think of a visiting alien with a broader range of color perception asking why we image bananas as red + green instead of in true yellow. (Okay, a banana probably does give off R & G as well as true yellow light.)
      All the colorist's on the West coast don't think so Steve. In fact they HATE laser projectors because they have to do a separate color job for customers with laser and another one for Xenon. So it is obviously as Steve G. says it is. The colorists can see it on the screen without having to do measurements with expensive instruments
