Thank you!
First step is power off, remove ICP, careful about static, clean edge connectors with lint free rag and isopropyl, put it back in, remarry projector, check if you still get the red.
I am afraid that you give no background. We see a projector with missing faceplates of the electronics' box, but you don't explain that.
Is this on a cinema screen or at a workshop?
Is this an installation that just took place, or was the projector there and in working order, and just now you decided to remove/re-sit boards and see what happens?
Have you had any experience that led you to a troubleshooting way that got you so far, or you got this malfunctioning projector and try to figure out how it works and how to fix it by utilizing the collective experience of the internet?
You are not being specific, and while you are talking about "multiple dots coming..." you don't describe what that is.
You have had in the past shared a case where the ICP board probably needed a change of battery. Is this the same projector and ICP? Or, is this the replacement ICP that you 've got for the dead one?
So, there is not much anyone can help you with, if you don't explain what is the background, what is the current situation and what are the steps you have followed so far.
If you are hoping that a random idea will fix the problem, the chances are not in favor of that.
One could argue, of course, "even so, what do you care?" And one would have had a point to do so...
If I do anything wrong ,, sorry for that friend, will send you the details correctly ,, that's the same projector only but I try with another icp board , I think that's icp board having also a issue . But in info of the communicator showing there are no errors showing ,
Hi Everyone,
It would be really good to see the resultant issue on Screen. To me, IMO it's most lightly to be the Red Formatter, as the Red test pattern is generated on the formatter, as are the other primaries. Complex test patterns are generated on the ICP. It would also explain why, there are no errors being reported, as there is no feedback from the output side of the formatter PCB. Normally I would expect Satellite errors if it was between the ICP and Formatter, or as others have said ICP errors if it was there.
Like I said an image of the issue on screen will give us all the information required to give an informed answer.
