  • Power Interrupt BARCO SP4K-12C

Hello everyone, I have a problem with this projector. Have you ever had this problem? Electricians have already come to the site, but they didn't
    find anything unusual.

Nope. I've had them in service for 5 years now. Never had that. Note, I do have them on a UPS, however.

The main question is: What happened on June 24th at 5:21pm? Did you have a power cut or a power fluctuation? If so, electricians can probably do very little and a UPS is what you need. Mind you, a UPS won't keep the whole cinema alive ?

In fact, nothing like that happened, the other projectors continued working the same way, this is the only one that has these problems, it's a problem that comes and goes.

It could be a problem on a branch circuit... that would not have impacted all the other projectors necessarily. UPS for the "brain" of the projectors is a very wise move, as with any computer.

Any other unusual errors in the log around the same time as the power interrupt?

Did it happend only one time or it happends from time to time? It could be power failure that voltage on mains dropped......but, i had that situations and newer saw that alarm. Or, maybe it happend because of projector electronic power supply problem!?

Save yourself a headache and install a UPS on the electronics of the projector. It'll prevent those errors and will save the projector over time.
Get a GOOD UPS. Search online and find out why cheap ones are cheap! Ideally, you want an ONLINE UPS - those are not cheap.

Meanwhile, you can try to monitor the supply with some monitoring tools. They can be inexpensive and they'll record everything.
