  • French Fried Popcorn

Anyone ever hear of something like this in a theatre (or anywhere else).
    Here's recipe: https://www.cooks.com/recipe/5y95a03...d-popcorn.html
Sounds like a trip to the emergency room waiting to happen.

Effectively all popcorn machines are french frying the raw corn.

Deep fried watermelon and popcorn. If defies logic, but it works.

How much oil are you putting in your machine?!

And still looks like a trip to the emergency room in the making. These have to be the same people who fry turkeys.

2 QUARTS of popping oil with 1/4 cup of corn?? We have a 32 ounce machine and it only uses 11 ounces of oil in a batch.

With this recipe you would have a bunch of kernels floating (or sinking) in a pot of hot grease. I can't decide if they'd ever pop or not.
