    Notes: This feature within the container is actually F166, despite them including a C185 framing chart! It's role was a digital backup for our Criterion 35mm print, which was matted to 1.85. Bit of a mismatch there.​

    The 35mm print was hard matted to 1.85??
    Was it one of the newer polyester-base prints with Dolby SR soundtrack?

    Screened one of those last year, and for the absolute most part it was open gate. I think some select scenes were matted to 1.66.

      I could be mistaken, i did not inspect it myself, it was the last hoorah for our summer overhire projectionist. It was labeled 1.85 and definitely had matting, but he did not compare it to PA35, so it might have been mostly 1.66 matting.

      We lack proper 1.66 lenses here, so 1.85 was the method by default.

      It was Acetate SR, so not a newer reprint,
