Hey all. So I have a rather insane collection of reanimated AN/TVS-3 military searchlights that use the same SQP 20kW Xenon lamp as IMax projectors. check out https://projectflashlight.org
As this is an art project, we try to economize, and $8000 lamps are a significant expense!
IMax lamps are swapped out at the end of warranty period, though still have a fair amount of life left that we can use! We run these at reduced power, in strong enclosures, and test before use.
We would love your expired lamps! We'll pay shipping, provide a legal waiver of liability, and maybe a Burning Man ticket...
