Did a search on this topic, found nothing.

Any information on the difference between the (-) and (+) on DVD recording media. I am looking on transferring some videos to DVD. I will not be using my computer, but a home unit. The model I have is a Lite On DVD Recorder LVW-5001.

Any help on the difference of the media types would be great. the only difference I see so far is the price. DVD+R's are about 25% higher than the DVD-R format.
