does anyone know a place where you can download full quality trailes with atleast dolby digital 5.1 surround and of course 1080p . The best I've stumbled upon is hd-trailers.net and apple's traielr website.

This is already being discussed in this thread.

Different animal, I believe. I think he means 1080p trailers. Most sources online (Apple Quicktime, for example) kill support for the surround tracks on trailers, which takes all the fun out of it. It *would* be nice to find a source for full AC3.

That thread discusses downloading digital trailers -- definitely related -- but if y'all don't mind having information scattered all over the place, knock yourselves out -- bad enough to have different threads, but in different forums too -- it makes searching difficult

Is 1080 really that different from DCP resolution? (Actually it's no different for certain aspect ratios like 1.78, 1.66 and 1.37; and only slightly better for 1.85)

Sounds good. Of course if the source material had surround channels removed from the mix before you can ever download it, then you're kinda out of luck no matter what you do. Thus the question comes around again. Anybody know where a good source of consumer level full-featured trailers might be?

On the other hand, Manny's right. Wrong forum. I'd edit and remove, but it's timed out. Scuze me...
