Locked out of Menu Solaria One

Solaria One with GDC SR 1000

Problem solved, just looking for the cause.

Logged onto the Solaria with Service. Everything on the Main Page of the TPC is lit and working. Press the Menu button and it turns orange and beeps, but no drop down menu. I've used the menu since installing the SR 1000, so I don't think that's the cause, unless it has a way of locking out the menu.

Tried logging in as Admin, no different.

Rebooted the TPC, projector and SR 1000 and seems to be normal again.

Your basic computer glitch, or sign of problem to come?

The Solaria was not Christie's finest effort to put it kindly. It has been plagued with various issues from day one.

If you've had this machine for a long time and it has otherwise been well behaved, this issue likely means that the TPC is on its way out.

Are all of your software and firmware up to date?

I would at least be prepared to get a TPC replacement on standby, especially with all the supply chain issues we aren't having according to a certain someone.

The TPC on the Christie Solaria series operates on Windows OS.

Enough said.

Yes, everything is up to date. The TPC is about the only thing that hasn't been replaced at least once.
