    After We Collided.

This is probably the most sexually explicit movie that I've ever shown in my theatre; it's about a quarter inch short of porn.

I gather it's based on a book that's written for young women. Well, okey dokey then. It's obviously not a movie that was made for someone like me so I hesitate to pass judgment on whether it's good or not; it's not my cup of tea by any means but maybe the audience that it was made for will like it.

In view of the (lack of) crowds that I've been getting for any movies these days, any size of audience is more than none. So hopefully it will appeal to somebody.

Well here's a fun story. This movie has a predecessor that came out last year, 'After'. The german titles were slightly different, 'After Passion' and 'After truth'. I think the concept was to enable a '50 shades of grey' type of cinema experience for teenagers ;-)

Whatever - there were two german trailers for 'After passion' - the first one was rated age 12, the second one was rated age 6 - but the main movie was actually rated age 0 (which means, no age limitation) in germany. My guess was that the rating commission rated it Age 0 because they wanted to payback the producers for being forced to watch through that ridiculous botch. So teenagers were forced to take their younger siblings with them to the cinema.

As a matter of fact, 'After Truth' now is doing quite well in german cinema, it came close to 'Tenet' during the first opening weeks. And 'Tenet' did quite well here.

After We Collided is classified "14A Coarse language, sexually suggestive scenes" in Saskatchewan. I guess it's just "suggestive" because there's no actual nudity in it other than the guy with his shirt off. You get to see a lot of pants getting unzipped and clothes landing on the floor, but they work the camera angles. The *cough* action *cough* is definitely there, though.

I hope someone likes this one. 50 Shades of Grey wasn't up to much either as far as I was concerned but it got really good turn-out.
