Can anyone recommend a reliable copy software program (PC platform) that is able to copy both DVD and BluRay? Purchase is ok; free would be nicer. We were using DVDFab but they went out of business and to copy BluRay with their program, you needed to be connected to their now non-existent website. Thanks

Make MKV all the way. 30 day free trial, around 50 bucks for the full version.

For DVD/Blu-ray, 1:1 copy no conversion https://www.dvdfab.us/
For 1:1 copy no conversion of 4k blu-ray https://deuhd.ru/

Both offer ISO support as well.

DVDFab's website is still up. My installation updated itself only a few days ago. Are you sure that they're out of business?

Not at all sure, Leo; it's just that the computer I am using says the site can't be reached. Our service goes thru the college IT which goes thru City University of NY IT which then goes out via Sprint (I think). It could very well be one of those handlers has a firewall block on that specific site for some reason. I'll see if that is the case.

Thanks

DVDFab is Chinese, and has long been suspected of containing malware/spyware. So it wouldn't surprise me if an institutional firewall is preventing it from "phoning home." For this reason I run it on a PC that is not normally connected to the Internet (my DCP render machine) and does not have any private or sensitive files permanently stored on it.
