Has anyone heard from John? It's been quite a while since he's posted and his phone does not take messages. Starting to worry.

My last communication with John was an email exchange March of 2016. Have you tried emailing him?

Actually thats the only thing I don't have. He never answered them anyway. He usually comes out to see us in El Cerrito at least a couple of times a year.

I was in the Twin Falls area last week, but didn't get a chance to swing down into Wendell to check up with John.

thx a bunch

Monte

Has anyone been successful contacting John? Upon Googling I found an obituary for someone by that name but don't think it's "our" John.

I did talk to the mgr of the Twin Falls theatre that knows John and he tells me that he sees his car at the front of the occupation where he works at now.

Thus, he's still with us.

He was definitely doing something to do with trucks, last I heard. I wonder if he ever sold the theater in Wendell, ID?

Update: made contact with John. He is doing good, but had some rough times. I told him of the members concerns that he is missed here on this forum and was wondering about him.

Thanks, Monte--good to hear that he is OK. Other than maybe a small equipment purchase or two, I don't think that I have had any interactions with him, but I do miss his posts here.

2nd Update: I finished up with John this evening via text and he wanted he to tell you guys “thank you for the concerns.”

He’s having some health issues with heart and kidneys, plus his eyesight is gradually failing due to AMD. Thus, he has no internet since October, which is why he hasn’t been on FT. His phone service has been touchy also, why I get his voice message and now can text.

He’s still doing cement business in Wendell, but can’t drive due to his eyesight. The shop keeps him busy inside so he can keep on insurances.

What’s going on for now. Thx. Monte
