Hi John

As I said I have started a new topic.

From the showing at Gabba in Brisbane I do not think so.

Stuart Broad should now go on Australian TV and just blow raspberrys for an hour taking 5-65.

If day 2 at the "Gabbatoir" is anything to go by, England will have some extra space for duty free in their luggage on the way home! It was only Australia's openers who crumbled, but with us it was the middle order as well. Still early days, but I suspect that this tournament might turn out to be more evenly matched than many suspected.

On the positive side we're losing by fewer runs each time so by the time we get to the fifth test we might even manage a draw !

So to answer Jonathan's original question...

Can Australia ever win the ashes again.
The answer is "Yes"...and it only took 14 days. [Wink]

But as you see my prediction about the decrease in the winning margin was correct. [Razz] [Big Grin]
