A really cool guy. I don't know much about him but he just seemed like a person you'd enjoy meeting.

I was never into American Bandstand and only saw a few of the New Year's shows he hosted, but I thought he was a perfect game show host. I loved the "$10,000/$25,000/$100,000 Pyramid" shows as a teenager. The 60-second "winner's circle" rounds were some of the most intense moments on TV.

R.I.P. and keep on rockin,' Mr. Clark.

I actually watched him when American Bandstand was new. His "TV Bloopers And Practical Jokes" was my favorite. Keep 'em spinning up there Dick.

Sad news indeed. A great loss of a wonderful entertainer.
