Also, youtube (which is owned by google for some time now) has a button on each video for allowing it to go into a mode like it's a movie from 1911. It adds stereotypical music that accompanied movies of the time period plus visual effects to make it look like an actual print. For being a real-time thing, it's pretty well-done.

I saw the 1911 logo on the youtube home page but wasn't sure what it was about. I figured it had to do with April 1st but didn't see the tie in anywhere. I even watched a few videos, but didn't see the button that you described. I'll have to go back and check it out.

Not every video has it for some reason. It's a joke saying that it takes you back to how videos were sent to youtube via horse-drawn carriage in 1911.
