Many hours spent scouting through SMPTE journals, BKSTS books and International Projectionist magazine has failed to help this bloke find his required 'projector'.

That sure looks like 2" Quad video tape to me, which is noted in the questions under the post.

I had both Ampex 2" quad and 2" slant track video recorders in my studio at the high school. All of that equipment was sold off a number of years ago, before I retired from teaching, to the highest bidder (not eBay)

Your need for PAL would indicate a search in those countries that use PAL. I would think there would be an archive in Australia or, failing that, London. Louis
