I have just started playing around with Microsoft Virtual PC2007. I actually need to use it to emulate a DOS environment for a DOS application.

I have several challenges so far.

1) I created a virtual machine which uses a premade virtual hard drive "PC DOS 2000.vhd", but I get the following error when it boots: "Fshare requires Connectix Virtual PC and DOS 5.0 or greater.

2) When I try to "install or update virtual machine additions" while the PCDOS virtual machine is running, nothing happens. I think this is because fshare has not been launched due to the error above in problem 1).

3)I want to try a different virtual machine DOS environment like DOS 6.22; however, I cant seem to find a pre-made DOS 6.22 vhd.

4) I have tried installing DOS on a new virtual machine, but I still cant seem to get the "virtual machine additions" installed.

Any gurus out there that can help me out?
