Does anyone from the New England area remember "Esquire Theatres of America"? I know for sure there were some locations in Maine during the 1960's.

If you remember this chain, do you recall if they used the blue-lit shadowbox screen that General Cinema used?

Thanks, Adam, that's very helpful.

I'm wondering if this chain had anything to do with General Cinema. I've seen reports of a theatre owned by Esquire that had the Shadowbox screen and GCC distinctive 1960's logo.
