So last Saturday night, the doorbell rang. My wife answered the door and instead of the standard "Trick or Treat!" the kid said, "When are you getting 'Alvin and the Chipmunks?"

Only in small-town America, eh? [Smile]

Wow, that is great! Only in a small town!
Only thing bad about a small town is that bad news travels fast. I bet if a movie breaks down everybody knows it. Ha.

Better do your best "town movie man"!
It has got to make you feel good though! [thumbsup]

Yeah they do, but we know where they all live too, so it works out.

I haven't worked at Cinemark since 2001 but I still get people who come up to me and ask questions as if it's my responsibility.

They'll tell me that the film "melted" the last time they were there or they'll say the sound was too loud or too soft and they'll ask me what went wrong. I try to tell them that I haven't worked there for nearly 10 years but it doesn't have much effect. People still act like I know every little thing that goes on there.
