Hiya

I have no problem recording videos from YT...problem comes when I try to convert them to MPEG2 on Quick Media Converter I get an error 'Cannot get resampling text' from the .flv file.

What do you guys use to do such things?

I have used the "Free FLV Converter" from Koyote Soft with much success. It give you the ability to select varying sample rates and export file formats. I'll sometimes use it to covert an FLV file to GP3 to watch on my phone.

You can also use it to strip the video portion of the file away and save the new file as an MP3. Best part... it's free.

MPEG Streamclip: http://www.squared5.com/

It's cross platform and can transcode video from just about any format to another. It's the best thing I've found to to the job.
