Not really a huge fan of the guy but didn't dislike him, he was pretty funny in the Ocean's series. HE died pretty young so that's kind of sad.

Surprising news. I had no idea Bernie Mac was struggling with some serious health problems (sarcoidosis). I'd usually expect someone his age to die of a heart attack due to undiagnosed heart disease -or in a car accident or something along those lines. Pneumonia is a pretty bad way to check out.

Bernie Mac's stand up routine was pretty crude. I liked the supporting performances he gave in a lot of different movies. He was great in Bad Santa. Bernie stole lots of scenes in How to be a Player.

HBO is playing Transformers tonight. Mac played a used car salesman in that movie.

I was very confused when I first saw this thread. I was originally thinking it was the character from Weekend at Bernie's. It took me a bit to put 2 and 2 together. I always thought of this guy as the "Eyeball Dude".
