I've noticed a few of us have PS3's and some may have 360s. The question is how many play online, what games do you play and whats your online name.

I've been playing COD4 for a while now, as there really isn't anything else I like playing till MLB 08: The Show comes out.

You can add me if you like and lets play.

360: Puldura (note, I do not have Xbox Live Gold. I refuse to pay to play online).

I haven't been playing online very much yet. I'm still trying to improve my skillz at using the ultra-phiggidy Sixaxis™ controller so I don't end up as a bullet-riddled wad of cookie dough in various Call of Duty 4 servers.

Damn! Red rings of death. Hail to thee O' supreme all-seeing powers that guide the X-Box.

A bunch of my coworkers love online gaming and most own a XBox360 system. Everyone of them has had to send in their system more than 2 times for various failures, with the dreaded "red rings of death" issue being the most common. Our top neon guy has had at least 4 different problems that involved a system replacement. Real pain in the ass. For whatever reason he still loves XBox360, I assume for how XBox Live is designed and the larger number of players on certain gaming servers. I don't have remotely that much patience.

Since this thread got bumped, what NEW games is anyone considering?

I'm hearing good things about FarCry 2. Don't know if I want to buy it though. Bioshock seemed interesting, but it's only "new" when it comes to PS3. Resistance 2 looks like it might be pretty cool, but I haven't really seen any in-depth reviews on it yet to see if it is worth the $60. Lots of people are paying out the ass to get copies of Little Big Planet, but I think I would probably only be thrilled to play that if I was still 3 years old, occasionally filling my "safety pants" with shit and really wanting to control a character called "sackboy." As old as I am now, when I hear the term "sackboy," I'm thinking it could be the title of a porn movie about someone with abnormally gigantic testicles. I can see the porn movie right now: Rainwoman Meets Sackboy.

2 week ago I bought Little Big Planet (I have the super offensive and evil version that was recalled and replaced with a new lite version). It's a friggin' great game! Yes, there are lots of sacks and lots of balls, too. But it is a great platform game. The controls aren't 100% perfect, but they can never be in a 2D game that uses polygons. If you want perfect control, play Castle of Illusion on the Sega Genesis. I have designed and published 2 levels so far. I am proud of my maze level which is TEH PWN.

I don't like "FPS" games or military combat games. I played Resistance 2 for about 45 seconds, shut it off and deleted it forever. Garbage.

So is the new "lite" version of LBP that people can actually buy really shitty (like filling up the safety pants shitty), or is it still pretty cool? What makes the "evil" unregulated, unrecalled version better?

I've been hearing so much about LBP and how it could even pose as a "wii killer" that it just seems intriguing from that perspective. The videos PS network has on the game look kind of cool.

FPS games..... You either love them or hate them. Resistance was the reason I bought a PS3. I'll be picking up Resistance 2 the day it comes out, and have been playing the Beta online as much as I can (as long as the crappy servers are up). The beta only has 1 map, with two online play modes. So far, it looks very promising. Improved weapons, with the addition of some of the classics of the first game. Online Co-op is very challenging, but Resistance has been known to have one of the most challenging story based games.

I also play Battlefield Bad Co. quite a bit, but I'm not too good. I don't own C.O.D 4, haven't played it. Close combat games aren't my thing. I bought Rainbow Six Vegas, but I don't like it as much as Bad Company.

PSN = Pacian

The game is good. The uncensored version that I have has a song that (GASP!) has quotes from the friggin' KORAN in it (some people spell it as Qu'ran) which is the terrorist holy book or something like that. Since we fear Muslims (it's our American duty) the song had its lyrics removed. To be honest, the song is better without the lyrics.
