Is anyone else thoroughly annoyed at Vibrant Media's Intellitxt bullshit? I am talking about the links in web pages that are actually links to advertisements, seen with a double underscore.

Has anyone found a way to block this nonsense with Firefox?

Whatever you do, don't hover your mouse over those things.

Easy-peasy-Japaneesy!

Adblock Plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

If the default configuration doesn't do it, add the filter string, "*vibrantmedia.com*" to block all content whose url contains that string.

Works like a charm.

You could also turn off Javascript or use the extension, "NoScript": https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

With it you can blacklist or whitelist javascript on a site-by-site basis.

That Adblock Plus is horrible! I installed it and it screwed everything up. I'll just avoid hovering my mouse over double-underlined links. That's easy enough.
