Hi all

Yes we've had the 'Are you a ham thread' but it's time to take it to the next level.

How many readers out there are ATV (Amateur TV operators) complete with their own TV stations?

Yes you guessed it. I (vk3pb) have my own ATV setup. [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!] You can find a picture of my 2007 logo and typical screenshot at the following wikipedia link (List of Australian tv broadcasters). Scroll right down.

That's cool, Peter (but I have a sneaky suspicion this thread will be shut down in favor of the older topic)! [uhoh] I'd considered fast-scan TV in earlier years, but never took the plunge. Slow-scan was attractive to me, too. But there wasn't much activity of either mode in my area at the time.

I was looking at some of the ATV sites recently, so I may still go that route. $$$ are a factor at this point, and my main priority is to get on HF asap.
