As the largest annual North American machine tools and advanced manufacturing event, WESTEC is the place to find over 600 exhibitors from advanced machine tools, cutting tools and accessories, manufacturing technology application and solutions, emerging technologies, and many other business resources all in one place.

This year I am in the Senior Capstone Class at Arizona State University Polytechnic Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program.

Our class is broken into several teams focusing on different projects for different customers. So far there are a few teams interested in attending Westech 2007, mine included. We would be participating in the Manufacturing Challange:

Manufacturing Challenge - an open-ended, juried competition, select university and college students display and demonstrate their projects and answer questions on the basis of design, innovation and manufacturability.

For those in the LA area, this event is worth while. I would look forward to at least finally being able to meet some FT members should they opt to attend.

Regards

Kutler
