I just got the April 2006 issue of Box Office Magazine in the mail today and while flipping through I saw that Brad had been quoted on page 62. Cinema Equipment & Supplies Inc's ad quoted Brad from his review of the Splycemar film splicer on this website.

Well la-de-da. I guess you must really be somebody when they think that your opinion carries enough weight in the industry to quote you. [Wink] [Big Grin]

Brad,

Don't let it go to your head. This is the magazine that features an audio writer whose name shall not be uttered and their want ads, when decrypted all read the same;

"Sober manager desires to move to warmer climate"

Looks like a Neumade splicer to me. Does everyone rip off everyone else's designs these days?

EDIT: Read the review. Interesting.

Haha, they could've just quoted me as saying "it's not a CIR, so it must be good!" [Big Grin]

What I'm wondering is why they are selling SANKOR lenses!!! [Eek!]

Film-Tech has long become a part of the motion-picture lexicon.

Makes me proud that I originally came up with the name, back in the late 70s. [Razz]

But I came up with the hyphen. And that is why I currently have over $10,000,000 in 6 different bank accounts and you do not.

but, unless I'm missing something, that ad does not feature the beloved hyphen. Joe gets screwed again. [Big Grin]
