From a listserve I'm on, just in case anyone has a bit of spare cash and a very large garage or garden shed...

quote:
You may recall the art deco Odeon Cinema at the top of Shields Road in Byker, Newcastle, between the Lord Clyde pub and the bicycle shop. It opened in 1934, closed in 1972 and the building was demolished in 1987. The Odeon was one of (Alfred) 'Black's Regal' cinemas in the North East and as such was one of the most opulent and successful in the region. A Compton 3c-6 organ was installed in the cinema in 1934 and shortly before the closure, was bought by a private owner. The organ has now come back onto the market and the owner is looking for expressions of interest. The contact for further detail is Mr Anthony Sargent, General Director at The Sage Gateshead music centre. If you have an interest in the organ, please contact Mr Sargent via his colleague Ms Helen Larmouth, 0191 443 4604 / helen.larmouth@thesagegateshead.org.
View the Organ here.

I presume that this picture just shows the console, and that the pipework is somewhere else.
