Just like the title says, how many people work at your theatre?

There are seven, including myself, at my place. The most at any theatre I've ever worked at was around 25-30. That was at a second run 8 screen.

I've always wondered how many people work at the huge 18, 24, or 30 plexs and if its hard to keep these places organized (scheduling employees, ect.)

My first theatre, a 3-plex art house staffed 8 plus two managers.

My second theatre, a single screen drive-in staffed about 30 in my first season and 20 in my second season, plus two managers and a projectionist/semi-manager.

My third theatre, a 14-plex, staffs almost 200 with managers included.

1 owner/manager/projectionist/bookkeeper/troubleshooter
1 ticket seller (wife of the above)
1 assistant manager on call
5 concession staff
2 janitorial staff

We have 2 other people on call who will run the booth when we want to take the occasional out of town trip. They don't work for pay, they just get free tickets when they help us out.

This question might be answered the way the Pope answered when asked "How many people work at the Vatican?"

"About half."
