This is reported by the BBC:

quote:
A teenage sleepwalker was rescued after being found asleep on the arm of a 130ft crane, police have revealed.
Police and firefighters were called to a building site in south east London, after a passer-by spotted the girl.

The full story is here

Is this really possible?

I never had such a situation (I only fell out of my bed one time).
But amazing how people, who are fast asleep manage to do things that require a lot of concentration. How does that work!?

When I was a child I would sleepwalk into the living room and have conversations with my mother about very complex things, then I would watch old classic movies with her for hours.

I would never remember the conversations, but I would wake up having had a dream of a story that surprisingly was an exact match of the movie or movies I watched the night before in my sleep.

With years of therapy (2x4 to the head reapeatedly until goes back to bed) I grew out of it.

Ciao
