I'm 43-years-old today.

I'm hanging out in Telluride working for Mountainfilm. Mountainfilm has 6-films in a 30 program schedule. The rest of the programs are video. We get to occupy a brand new theatre this year. Palm Theatre This town of 2,000 people now has a $14M performing arts theatre at the high school, how cool is that.

I have no plans for tonight, but I should be able to scare up some sort of dinner plans in this town where everybody is so social. Mountainfilm starts tomorrow.

Ha den äran på födelsedagen...

And quoted from the website, under technical info:
"There are two Century 33mm film projectors, Christie X10 digital projector along with associated sound processing and film handling equipment. The projection screen measures 17’ high by 40’ in width."

So how do you do that? Do you shave off 2 mm on every film, or are you getting smaller prints? Are they shrinking due to the mountain air?
¨
Just curious...

Never fear, Ian didn't spend his birthday alone. Ross Krantz and I found Ian huddled in a corner (of the Mason's projection booth of course) and dragged him out to a local bistro for dinner and enough wine (I think it was a nice Australian Shiraz) to make him smile. Hope he feels OK today since it is MountainFilm's opening day.

Happy UnBirthday Ian! May you have 363 more great ones until your next birthday arrives.

Happy belated B'Day bud! Hope to yak soon...

BTW Ian: You really piss me off about how much weight you've lost and how good you look!

I'm thinking of joining the LAPD just so I have a "legal" excuse to eat doughnuts!
