Big fan of the Tv show, has anyone heard anything about the movie?

Just wondering if the movie will be any good?
Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg, and Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse? I'm not feeling too comfortable with this..... I hope it works out!

Comments anyone?

Edwin

I believe Jessica Simpson is Daisy Duke. It will probably suck. They may make a comedy spoof out of it. I hope the tires still squeal on dirt. Who will play Rosco?

Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg? He's going to have to do some serious eating...

The show itself wasn't all that bad for the first couple of seasons. By 1983-84, however, it was downright stupid. The episode where space aliens visit Hazzard County and live with the Dukes has to be the dumbest thing ever broadcast in the history of CBS television.

I never like the TV show much, but disliked it even more when I read that they were destroying an average of 1 Charger every three shows. I was a big fan of the Dodge Charger from the first day they were made. I remember several of the kids in my class arguing that, "in real life" the Charger would have kicked Bullitt's Mustang's ass.

As stupid as that show was, I have to admit I now want to see this episode! [Wink]

The only "draw" of this movie will be Jessica Simpson in the shorty-shorts and skimpy top.

 -

Therefore, you'll see all the "best parts" (pun intended) in the trailer.
