I just noticed that over in the For Sale forum, several items have been sold, and the posts (and topic) has been edited to remove all trace of what it was.

While I don't believe this is currently a violation of forum rules, I throw out to the moderators that it should be, as it leaves the clutter of dead threads out there.

Just a suggestion.

It would be nice if sellers would edit them to say sold but leave the desciptions and include the final selling price so we could have an idea of what this stuff is actually worth.

For what it's worth, having a "For Sale" discussion forum is a bit of a technological mismatch. I'm not saying we shouldn't have a list of for sale stuff somewhere on Film Tech because I think that is providing a great service. Just that it's a little awkward using discussion forum software to do it. And I don't think we need a full blown auction site either... that would just be ridiculous.

MOHO - I agree with Mitchell and Marc; it would be nice to know what stuff sold for. You can check someday in the future and know that the EPRAD Starscope processor (the "Starbelch" as PT would say!) in your basement still isn't worth anything.... [Smile]
