Those Canadians only use the best computers! This was a news story from two weeks ago. Those wacky Canadians are sure behind the times! [Smile]

In all honesty it's not "supposed" to be funny. You've become too accustomed to what everyone posts on the forum. It's just old, and Canadian, which therefore makes it entertaining. It is supposedly 10 years old.

No date. Except for the 10+ years ago.

I always love watching "current" events from years past, and seeing how things were viewed back then. It was kinda wierd hearing them say "Internet" all the time rather than "The Internet," as we would say it today.

Joe, where is this from? What do you mean it was a news story from two weeks ago? I assume that part was a joke?

Yeah, I said that just to make people laugh. You may think it didn't work, but many, many people called me and all I heard was laughter before they hung up. I got this from another forum I visit.

Hey Joe, screw'em if they can't take a joke. I thought it was not only funny but thought-provoking as well.

Hint to Canadians: If you want to know how old this is, just listen to the tone of C.B.C.'s Peter Mansbridge's voice and compare it to today. More than 10+ I would guess.

Bout the time I was playing with my buddie's Timex Sinclair.

I can't even read the word 'canadian' without thinking of Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. [Big Grin]
quote:
It's time to separate the weak from the chafed, the men from the boys, the awkwardly feminine from the possibly Canadian.
