The twins - whose fame started as babies on the TV sitcom "Full House" - will become legal adults today. And with the new age comes full control of about $300 million in assets. By the time they turn 21, Forbes magazine estimates, this duo will be worth $1 billion. Source
Must be rough [Smile]

Looking at the linked 'count down sites' I found out that only 3 years, 43 weeks, 5 days, 19 hours, 29 minutes, and 25 more seconds until Emma Watson (Harry Potter) turns 18. These pedophiles need to be stopped.

Legal to do what, Richard, act in porn? Yes, that comes with attaining age 18. If you just mean legal age of consent for sex only a small portion of US states set that at 18. The majority are 16 and some are 17. Here is info about the US and most other countries. I've no idea why people think 18 means "legal" when in most cases they had that status years earlier.

Nate: Pedophile isn't really accurate since that would be someone attracted to prepubescent children. (The term is mis-used in the media all the time.) I don't think they'd want Emma anymore since she's well on her way to physical maturity. There is a term which I cannot remember which is the equivalent of "teen-o-phile" but it is rarely used, perhaps because it's not psychologically aberrant to find attractive someone who is young but physically an adult with curves in all the right places.

I'm going to be an ass here for a second because this thread seems to rank right up there for the most useless award.

Richard, do you really think you will ever go out on a date with either or both of the Olsen twins, much less have sex with them? For that matter, do you ever think you will even be in the same room with one of them? Seriously, get over it. It doesn't affect you in the least bit. [Roll Eyes]

BTW have you ever considered changing your signature to "I just don't want to get sued" ? [Big Grin]

So Brad, how do you *REALLY* feel about this thread?

Gosh Richard, that makes 4 people happy.... you, both of the twins, and their agent.

Whenever I think "Olsen" I think of those ugly little trolls on Full House or whatever show they were on. Yes, they actually looked like those troll dolls! They're better now, but really not my type.

21 Jump Street kicked Full House's ass! Hell that show had Johnny Depp and, um, Richard Greco!

I still think of the Olsen twins as lil kids. I cringe whenever guys my age group do this countdown. Since Greco is closer to their age, it is not big deal to me. But man, your timing sucks because not too long ago you pinpointed that Emma Watson will become a hottie, and now rejoice Olsen Twins birthday. The two posts back to back - A lil creepy. People speculating about Lohan's fake or real rack for some reason doesnt creep me out because she doesn't look underage I guess.

But yeah, I agree creepiness doesnt equate to pedo in my view. WHat is real icky is some adults commenting on how hot the Whalerider chick will be or even Emma Watson who still looks like a tomboyish cute lil kid to me.

The term 'jumped the shark' seems appropriate to those homely little girls.

Well they may be fairly useless from an entertainment standpoint, but "homely" they are definitely not. You don't have to be a weirdo to see this. I may be 47 but I have: (A) a good memory and (B) good eyesight.

Brad, I actually was in the same room with them.
They did a press thing in Tampa a while back. They are really short.

I said that they are legal because, everywhere I go on the net, that's what the countdowns say. Honestly, I really don't want to see them naked. I grew up with them on Full House. That would be too creepy seeing Michelle Tanner posing in playboy.

No, I don't ever think I will date them..I will also never nor want to have sex with them. I just think they are hot. I have a lot of respect for them for what they made for themselves. They are self made millionaires. They are producers, and fasion designers, and now CEO's of their own company. That's pretty cool to me.

As far as Emma Watson goes, I have never had a bad thought about her. She is WAY too young. There has been numerous times when I see high school aged girls that look attractive. I know they are too young and I don't think anything more about it. Please don't accuse me of anything like that. It isn't cool.

A.J. Cook is still hot, but she pretty much dropped out of the lime light.

Now, the Lindsay Lohan countdown is one to look forward to. She turns 18 when I turn 21.

Among the young actresses mentioned I'd say that while the Olsens are cute and all, I don't think they're all that fabulous. BTW they are not identical twins. I do have a lot of respect for whomever was advising them in their careers as they did make quite a bundle on those made-for-video kiddy movies. But some of the others mentioned are more attractive.

I was about to ask whatever happened to Anna Chlumsky (remember "My Girl" ?) but IMDb says she graduated from the University of Chicago (a rather prestigious institution) and now works for Zagat in NYC. Boy does that make me feel old. And out of show business the scribbles she did on an ADR script that I saved aren't going to appreciate in value! [Frown]
