I always wondered what would happen if NASA discovered human life on another planet, and they had a Miss Universe pageant with a winner that's much more worthy of the role, what would happen to this Australian one?

Yes, but Donald Trump OWNS the Miss Universe Pageant. You couldn't very well have a contestant that Donald's likely to be partial to walk away with it, could you? However, she can't lose either. If she comes in second, everybody's happy.

Most Americans think Australia is a cool place and wouldn't mind taking second place to an Aussie if the competition is good. (And it WAS good.) We really couldn't have a non-English speaking country take the prize from an American, now!

Ecuador comes in third. It's a gimme. The contest was held in Ecuador. Miss Ecuador has to get some recognition.

Truth is: It's ALL bullshit!

In my opinion, Miss Brook Lee who was Miss USA 1n 1996 and went on to win the Miss Universe crown in 1997 was the best in my opinion. Not only did she represent our country with dignity and a lot of class, she was the pride and joy of everone from her home state of Hawaii.
