Just how do you switch the Acrobat reader find function from a small window floating above the main page to the list which opens on the right side (like the contents window)? I looked everywhere under settings but couldn`t find the option. Yet the Reader which I have on my home computer opens that window which gives you a list of the search results rather than the floating window which only displays one result and highlights it on the main page.

I think you're using 2 different versions of Acrobat Reader. I have 6.0 which has the search feature in the sidebar, but IIRC, 5.0 has the seperate window, so I guess the answer to your question would be to go to acrobat.com and download version 6.0

You may need to download the "full" version of the reader which has advanced searching features. The last several versions of Acrobat reader have been available as both a "full" version and ...uh I guess a "not so full" version.
