As a teacher I've found that the less intelligent somebody is usually representative of their happiness. So yes . . . "dumber" people are more happy because they are ignorant of their situation in the larger picture and are just living day-to-day because its OK by them.

These are the people who often don't have the proverbial "pot to piss in" when they die.

For sure false! I don't think happiness and intellegence are at all relative to each other. I find that happiness is more relative to any persons well being at any given moment. Take a stupid person from a broken home and you'll find them generally pretty unhappy while you'll find that other not so smart people with a good upbringing are happy as heck. I know many very intelegent peoplr out here, some are teachers, professors, and physisicts that are extremely happy and an equal number that are unhappy.

Now I was a quite unhappy person at my old place of employment but not so at my present employer. When I go home I have a large tendency to leave work at work and so on and keep things st home on a happy course. My girl friend has a very large family and it actually makes weekends alot of fun on many occasions.

Does this make sense or does it sound stupid? [Big Grin]
