Author Topic: Pirates of the Carribean II Dominique Replogle Film Handler Posts: 61 From: Highland Utah Registered: Apr 2004 posted 05-04-2004 11:13 PM                        Forgive me, I could not seem to find a place to post it, but it seemed interesting enough to say somewhere. I heard on two different newscasts that the script is currently being written for the sequel and Depp is wanting Keith Richards to play the role of his father. Whether or not the movie ends up sucking I will still get a kick out of seeing that if Richards signs on. As the first one was quite a bit of fun, and raked in an ungodly sum of cash, and that the ENTIRE cast and crew and writers and production and directorial staff have signed back on, it shouldn't suffer the same fate as most sequels seem to suffer from. Most sequels suffer because everything changes. If the formula works, just change the storyline and keep the rest the same. It may do the same or better or slightly less business than the first, but count on another hit.
