here is the link for the beta source file:

http://snapshot.opera.com/mac/o750p3_1701.tar.gz

Plus some installation observations:

I downloaded it to my desktop and then ran Stuffit to unsip it. It will open the icon for 7.5 on the desk top. You can leave 6.03 installed in case you have problems. I moved the 7.5 icon to the dock and left 6.03 installed but with no icon in the dock.

I imported bookmarks and it brought in my Opera 6.3 bookmarks and my Safari bookmarks. It will also import IE 6 and Netacape book marks....Under FILE see the Import options.

You can choose in View how you want the new panel (the new version of the 6.3 HOT LIST) to appear. I tried floating it as separate page but when I did so I found I could not bookmark the page direcctly with out some additional steps. If you keep the panel open (toggle F4) you can just select the book mark folder and then use Control T to add the book mark to the selected folder. I do all my internet research in Opera because of this feature. Another area where IE 6.0 for the Mac just sucks!
