Yes, the seven figured dollar man movie that has been in development hell for like... ever...

finally has a star..

Jim Carrey.

It will be written and produced as a comedy instead of an action drama.

Oh now this should be fun...

Dave

Will the sequel be the 7 Million Dollar Man? And part 3 the 8 Million Dollar Man?

Five things wrong with this idea:

1: Making what could be a good action adventure into a comedy.

2: Jim Carrey

3: Jim Carrey

4: Jim Carrey

5: Jim Carrey

[thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown]

What can you buy nowadays for 6 million dollars anyway.

The first thing they would have to do is update the title to "THE SIX BILLION DOLLAR MAN".

I think it is an insult to a show that I realy loved watching in the 70's. They need to keep it serious and if I had to pick someone to play Steve Austin, I would pick Collen Ferrel.

It was one of my favorites too Daryl along with Star Trek. I liked the Bigfoot episodes the most in SMDM.
I don't think Colin Ferral would be good in that part. I don't know who would but not him.

The concept sounds like it will make the same amount of money for total gross, about six million dollars. [bs]

If it stars Jim Carrey shouldn't it be called "The 20 Million Dollar Man"? Or perhaps more if his price has gone up?
