Recently I have noticed that whenever I sign on to AOL Instant Messenger, it plays a sound once the sign-on is complete and the Buddly List window appears. I just noticed this recently. (It never did it when I had Windows 98 - perhaps it's an XP thing?) I cannot find this sound anywhere in the AIM options or in the Sounds control panel. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about? What is this sound and how do I get rid of it?

Maybe this is a wav-file somewhere in the AIM directory. You could delete it or replace it with a sound you like more but then you have to make sure the new file is renamed to carry the old filename so that AIM finds it.
