I think we should all pitch in and buy this car for Joe's 39th birthday. It's even still got the "honky lips" graffiti from the ghetto scene on the side of the car! [Big Grin]

I really enjoyed reading that. It made me recall the film, as I showed it for many days when it was first released.
Sort of satirizes Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath
doesn't it? (I was stationed near Barstow on Route 66 at the edge of the Mohave Desert in the early 1950's)
