This debate seems to happen every time protectionist legislation is either introduced or removed - for example the first such occasion in the UK was the 1927 Cinematograph Act. Three quarters of a century later we still have a film industry - just.

Hmmm

If this Free Trade Agreement goes through maybe films like Moulin Rouge will no longer be made and people like Baz Luhrmann might be out of work.
