The Shape of Things opened 5/9 in NYC and expanded to NY suburbs today. There were no ads for that film in the Village Voice this week or last. There was no ad in the Newark Star-Ledger today.

Focus Features is usually very supportive of its new releases. Could the lack of ads for The Shape of Things have something to do with the poster? (Woman's hand resting near a man's groin.)

They probably don't want to spend money on it,being as it has not been received well at all by audiences.
