Dwayne Caldwell said in another thread:

Bob, I'd gladly welcome a bullet to the temple any day then work on a Chuck Norris project.

I knew he was a chuck proponent. After all Dwayne realizes that Chuck is the closest person alive today, that can claim the title of "King of the Wild Frontier".

Let's keep this to serious replies. [Wink]

People agree with Bob:

American Hero

The Chuck Shrine

Chuck Norris is a very bad word!

And as I quote from Mike's Celebrity Ratings "Chuck Norris -- a bad actor and martial artist, but has a nice beard"

This from Rachel's first link...

quote:
"Chuck Norris, star of the highly rated CBS television series, "Walker, Texas Ranger," is one of the most popular and successful actors in the world. His unique ability to effectively combine action and adventure on the big screen in over 20 motion pictures has made him one of Hollywood's leading action stars with a large and loyal following here and abroad."
THAT'S HILARIOUS! What incredible studio fluff! Wow, a whole 20 movies AND he is a "leading action star". Yeah right! Rachel's third link is more on the money.

I'm moving this to Yak.

I wonder if Brad,Dwayne and Joe realize that Chuck in addition to playing the role of Cordell Walker also played the difficult role of Hayes Cooper, an original Texas Ranger. He probably hung around with that masked man of the old west, who rode on Silver..Hi-O Silver.....yes that's right The Lone Ranger.

Chuck Norris... What a guy! [thumbsdown] He was scheduled to pay a visit to the fabulous Mann Kipling 6 here in Littleton Colorado in the early 90's to promote his new movie "Sidekicks." He never even bothered to show up and lots of kids were heartbroken. [Frown] Joe Redifer included! [Frown] (Do you remember this Joe?)

I thought he was there! I just figured he was so unspectacular that nobody noticed him.

However Gord, As you must be aware before "Chuck" was a Texas Ranger he was up North Training the RCMP on the Trunda in Northern Ontario.

It was in the days before zip codes and area codes. When you picked up a phone cranked the handle and asked the operator to make your connection. YES, Those were the day's.

In the days when the entire population of Aurora totaled 1200.

Those were the day's when you went swinmming in the creeks at the four mile marker. Those were the day's when you would jump off the high dive at Cedar Beach. Those were the day's when you could walk out 400 feet into Lake Simco. Those were the day's you could catch a ten pound "Pickrel" in Long Lac. [Smile]

THOSE WERE THE DAY'S

Apoligies to the Bunker Family [Smile]

The United States and Canada forever Bound by a Common Border.
