OK, I know there are what, six, seven teasers!
My Place recieved two today, but another theatre recieved three, I was lead to believe multiple posters released two at a time. If it is indeed two why did others receive more and if its three... well then I know there is still a problem with the promotional items being swiped. If anyone has an answer let me know please. By the way, how many lightboxes do these people think we have? Ours are going in rotation, but thats a lot to be displaying all at one time, once they all trickle in that is.
Tired, ambling, thanks for any answers.

There are 6 posters coming out. I have spoken with the Warner rep and he said that they will be shipping 2 at a time. From what I also heard, all sites that do get the posters will only get 1 copy of each style. This is what they all look like...

Those are so cool. They're simple, but really make me want to see the movie, more.

I'm definitely gonna have to get one from my (old) theatre.

I do not know why but I did not like the original "MATRIX" film at all and was kind of curious what the big fuss about this picture was. Another movie I did not like was "FIGHT CLUB". Pictures like these seem to be very popular with younger age group, mostly men. Perhaps my age is beginning to show when it comes to taste in action films with a lot of extreme violence.

Matrix was something different. It gave the sci-fi and action genres a greatly needed kick in the ass. The story was nothing spectacular but it was the way it was told that made it spectacular. Oh yeah, the violence was a bit over the top also. The American culture has been desensitized and moving at a faster pace over the last couple of decades. This movie just filled the bill for that appetite of the public.

As for Fight Club...it spoke to the lost male population of Gen X. I do not see that movie as an action film at all. I am not speaking for all of the male gen x'ers but I believe the movie was explaining the reasons for the disillusion of said population. I have a strong connection to that movie and it has nothing to do with the violence in it. I totally understand the frustrations that Fight Club spoke of. Ok, I am rambling now...

I love The Matrix. However my uncle's wife kept saying that she didn't like it simply because of the slow motion action scene that takes place just as Keanu and Carrie Ann Moss are entering the building to save Laurence Fishburne's digital ass. My girlfriend at the time wandered into the screening of the movie at just that point and complained of the same exact thing. Her comment was "Get on with it!". She now loves the movie regardless.
