Just 3 weeks before release of his romantic sci-fier
"Solaris", Director Steven Sodbergh is locked in a
battle with the MPAA rating board over it's decision
to rate the film R, because of two scences in which
actor George Clooney is seen naked from the rear.
Soderbergh plans to appeal the rating at a MPAA
ratings hearing.

I guess George Clooney's exposed ass will give 13 year old girls a legitimate reason to scream.

I highly doubt that Clooney's arse is the only reason for the R rating. After all, you can occasionally see a bare tush on network TV these days. Exactly what is he DOING with his buns hanging out? That could make the difference.

"NYPD Blue" has been doing bare butts (both sexes) on TV for years. And this year they even get to use the word "bullshit".

There has to be more to this than just bare butts.

Maybe George was digging for dingleberries on camera. Or perhaps he cut a fart.

So THAT's the word the LA Times was laughably pussyfooting around in the LONG article about a word being used on NYPD Blue last week.

They're gonna say Shit on television? They can't say Shit on television!
