Here is a cautionary story about the risks of getting drunk and making a bad choice of where to pass out: http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/Midwest/09/28/offbeat.compacted.man.ap/index.html

The same thing happened about a month or two ago. The guy just passed out in a bin and got all squishy. He too survived.

Nice to know they don't compact too terribly hard.

I drink all the time. Not much, but frequently.

But I only drink at home, with friends, and only when I know I need to be nowhere. I may be social, but I am responsible.

Talking about responsibility, I just saw on the news that Tirana, the capital of Albania was flooded because the person in charge of the dam was drunk and opened the gates in protest when he was refused one more drink...

Not only do you need to watch out what you do after getting drunk, but the choice of beverage can be pretty important too... click here.

Leo's link has convinced me I made the right choice by drinking "Beefeater's Gin". Just think only six more hours and it will be Martini time. Now if I lived in England I could be drinking now.

I can't wait for someone to invent the "Transporter Machine". Beam me over Leo.

Plymouth Gin is the one for me. It's distilled in a building on a site where the Pilgrim Fathers stayed before crossing the pond, so if they don't export to the US they're missing one hell of a marketing opportunity!
